Karachi: One killed in firing on MQM-P Union Council office

MQM-P convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui announced three-day mourning on the death of a worker.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – An activist of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) was killed and another sustained critical wounds when some unidentified persons opened fire at the MQM-P Union Council (UC) office in News Karachi area on Monday, Dunya News reported.

According to details, some unidentified persons riding on motorcycles opened indiscriminate fire on at the MQM-P UC office in New Karachi, injuring at least two persons.

The injured were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where an injured person named Shakeel died during treatment.

MQM-P convener and federal minister Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui reached Abbasi Shaheed Hospital after the incident. Talking to media, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui condemned the attack and demanded of the authorities to arrest the culprits. He announced three-day mourning on the death of MQM-P worker.
