MQM-P MNA Usama Qadri receives extortion call, messages
Usama Qadri said that he has received extortion calls and messages on his WhatsApp number.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader and Member of National Assembly (MNA) Usama Qadri said that he has received extortion call and messages on his WhatsApp number.
According to Usama Qadri, he had received a call and messages for extortion from a Dubai-based number asking him to transfer Rs 2.5 million to an account in South Africa or face serious consequences in case of not complying with the demand.
Osama Qadri said that he has informed his party about the matter while Minister of State for Interior, Shehryar Khan Afridi has also been contacted in this regard.
Usama Qadri that his life was in danger and alleged that he was not provided security despite the fact that the matter was brought into the notice of Minister of State for Interior.
