Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted cold and dry weather in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, Dunya News reported.

The Met Office said that continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A fresh westerly wave is likely to approach western parts of the country on Friday.

According to Met Office, Foggy conditions are expected in South Punjab and upper Sindh during morning/night hours. Rain with snowfall over the mountains is also expected in Murree, Gilliyat, Malakand division, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir from Friday (night) to Sunday (morning).

Meanwhile, weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country during the past 24 hours. Kalam remained the coldest city in the country with -11°C temperature.
