LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Thursday held his first press conference since gaining power and presented the 100-day performance of his government.

He asserted that corruption will not be tolerated at any cost. “The corrupt people will be accountable of every penny,” he said.

Punjab CM also mentioned payments worth millions due to be paid by Pervez Rasheed, Asif Kirmani and Mushaidullah.

“They say that I do not possess any authority. On the other hand, they criticize my orders pertaining to the transfer of Inspector General,” he taunted.

Buzdar told that Rs550 million were spent on the security of Jati Umra.

CM Usman Buzdar is set to make his first maiden foreign visit to China on December 17. According to Chief Minister s spokesperson Dr Shehbaz Gul, Buzdar will hold talks with Chinese authorities on CPEC.

Due to the visit, Punjab government s ceremony related to 100-day plan in Aiwan-e-Iqbal will be delayed.
