Paragon Housing Scam: NAB claims more important development
Saad Rafique and Nadeem Zia sold 800 marlas of land in Rs4 billion
LAHORE (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday submitted a report pertaining to Paragon Housing Scandal in the accountability court.
The anti-graft watchdog has submitted investigation report of arrested Paragon Housing society director Qaiser Ameen Butt in the accountability court, while the report also claimed more important developments in the case.
Sources told Dunya News that Qaiser Ameen Butt in his alleged statement said that former federal minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique and Nadeem Zia sold 800 marlas of land in Rs4 billion, while the Khawaja brothers also sold the Shahid Butt’s commercial land to people.
The statement further said that Khawaja brothers and Nadeem Zia were accused of withdrawing billions of rupees from Paragon’s account under secret names.
“The Paragon Housing society director also assured the anti-graft agency of providing the financial details,” sources added.
