PPP Senator Chandio said PTI was against the 18th Amendment since day one.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Maula Bux Chandio has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) should refrain from indulging in the politics of language.

Responding to Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry’s statement in which he hinted at dissolving the Sindh government, the PPP spokesperson said: “Centre should come to its senses and avoid any campaign against the provinces.”

He warned against dissolving the Sindh government, saying PTI was against the 18th Amendment since day one. “We are guardians of the 18th Amendment and custodians of the centre,” he added.

Fawad Chaudhry stirred controversy when he hinted at the end of Sindh government and criticised the PPP leadership for its alleged role in the massive money laundering scandal.

“On one occasion, a street vendor becomes billionaire while on some other occasion rickshaw driver becomes instant millionaire,” he said while presiding over a session of PTI’s Sindh chapter.

“At present, Pakistan Peoples Party is ruling Sindh. Let’s see how long it will remain in place.”
