PM Imran, Punjab Speaker Pervaiz Elahi exchange views on phone
Pervaiz Elahi said that the country would progress under the leadership of Imran Khan.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday had a telephonic conversation with Punjab Assembly Speaker Pervaiz Elahi during which the two discussed matters relating to the coalition government.
Imran Khan thanked Elahi for his cooperation in matters pertaining to the Punjab Assembly and provincial government and reiterated his support to the speaker.
Pervaiz Elahi told the prime minister he would receive good news from Punjab, adding that the country would progress under the leadership of Imran Khan.
He expressed the hope that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s upcoming visit to China and Malaysia would be successful and congratulated the premier on his recent visit to Saudi Arabia.
