ANP staged a protest against inflation and tariff increase in front of Peshawar Press Club on Friday
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Awami National Party (ANP) staged a protest against inflation and tariff increase in front of Peshawar Press Club on Friday, Dunya News reported.
A large number of ANP leaders and workers participated in the protest. Addressing the protesters, ANP leader Mian Iftikhar said that Dollar rate in Pakistan has significantly increased under the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
Mian Iftikhar said that why Pak Rupee has dropped to Rs 137 against the dollar in Pakistan while it stood at 75 in Afghanistan, 73 in India and 86 in Bangladesh.
He said that recent tariff increase has made to life of poor miserable in the country and demanded of the government to withdraw increase in tariff and inflation.
