Imran Khan in Mehran, Naya Pakistan, and hype on social media
At a time when social media is used to spread facts, at the same time, it is a hub of fake news.
(Web Desk) – How easily we get duped of things floating over the internet, one can estimate this by a recent video of Imran Khan lookalike. He was driving a Mehran car while he was filmed. As the video hit the internet, people, especially those supporting PTI, started trending #NayaPakistan #SayNoToProtocol #ImranKhanOurLeader. The girls who were filming started shouting “Naya Pakistan” “wow Imran Khan”. Imran Khan’s facsimile responded by waving hand. Some even captioned the video on their wall, “Imran Khan going to office without protocol”.

Though people love their leader Imran Khan, who rose to occasions and made his name, but people getting tricked and in fact getting serious considering the lookalike real Imran Khan is quite jocular. Imran Khan is now prime minister of Pakistan. Though he has significantly reduced his protocol but reality is he cannot use Mehran. He is surrounded by innumerable party loyalists. But one can wish the day come soon when our Prime Minsters use some hundred CC cars like Mehran.
