LAHORE (Dunya News) - Rumpus on Sunday, broke out as the opposition members staged protest in Punjab Assembly after the announcement of Chief Minister.

The opposition leaders chanted slogans in the favor of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawqz (PML-N) in front of speaker’s dais.

It is pertinent here to mention that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Usman Buzdar became 20th Punjab CM after obtaining 186 against PML-N’s Hamza Shahbaz, son of former Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif, who secured 159 votes.

Usman Buzdar garnered 26,897 votes from PP-286 Taunsa Sharif and defeated independent candidate Khawaja Muhammad Nizamul Mehmood.
