MQM founder, other leaders declared proclaimed offenders in derogatory speeches case

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-London) founder and its leaders Khushbakht Shujat, Haider Abbas Rizvi and Nasreen Jaleel have been declared proclaimed offenders in provocative speeches case.

According to details, the court will indict Farooq Sattar, Amir Khan and Kanwar Naveed in the next hearing.

Earlier, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi had reissued non-bailable arrest warrants for MQM founder and other fugitives in provocative speeches case.

Police had filed cases against Dr. Farooq Sattar, Haneed Lakhani, Ameenul Haq, Qamar Mansoor, Mehfooz Yar Khan, Arif Khan, Shahid Pasha, Izhar Ahmed including 40 other leades.

The cases were filed against over hate speeches against intelligence agencies and inflammatory speeches. Police also stated that the case was registered under Rangers’ officer’s presence.
