The ECP has summoned Imran Khan to appear in person or through his counsel today.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)  reissued notice to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan for violating the electoral code of conduct.

The ECP will hear the case of violating secrecy of ballot code against PTI chief Imran Khan today. ECP has summoned Imran Khan to appear in person or through his counsel or else a unilateral verdict is likely in case of absence.

Imran Khan had to stamp the ballot paper publicly as he couldn’t go behind the voting screen to cast his vote in secrecy due to the presence of a large number of people and media in the room on polling day.

The ECP’s action came after Imran Khan’s media talk and voting exercise that was captured on video.
