Gujranwala: Two killed as jeep falls into Upper Chenab Canal
The deceased were identified as Abid and Imran who were residents of Wapda Town.
GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – At least two people were killed when an over-speeding jeep skidded off the road and fell into Upper Chenab Canal near Chan Da Qila area of Gujranwala on Sunday.
Rescue teams reached the spot and retrieved the bodies from the jeep after a hectic effort of one hour.
According to rescue sources the accident occurred when the driver of the jeep lost control of the vehicle due to over-speeding. The deceased were identified as Abid and Imran who were residents of Wapda Town.
