ECP rejects demand for CECs's resignation

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has categorically rejected the demand for resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan.

Several politicians had demanded Khan’s resignation at an All Parties Conference held in the aftermath of general election to discuss ways and means to form governments in the centre and Punjab.

The electoral commission while dismissing the criticism condemned the demands of the politicians. ECP officials have also decided to hold a press conference tomorrow over the matter.
