One killed, six injured as speeding bus overturns in Karachi
The passengers of the ill-fated bus were returning after attending a marriage ceremony.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least one person was killed and six others sustained injuries when a bus turned turtle at Shahra-e-Faisal near Star Gate area of Karachi on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
The passengers of the ill-fated bus were returning after attending a marriage ceremony. According to eye-witnesses, the accident occurred due to over-speeding which resulted in death of a person on the spot while six others were wounded.
The residents of the area shifted the injured persons to hospital on self-help bases. Hospital sources said that the deceased was identified as Zahid Hussain.
