Lahore: Mother, daughter killed in road accident
A rashly driven truck hit a motorcycle in Shahdara on Tuesday, killing a woman and her daughter.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A rashly driven truck hit a motorcycle near Shahdara Bridge on Tuesday, killing a woman and her minor daughter on the spot.
According to details, 22-year-old Arooj and with her two-year-old daughter Wafa was going with his brother Zahid on a motorcycle when a truck hit them. Arooj and her daughter died on the spot while Zahid received injuries.
Police and rescue teams shifted the dead and injured to hospital. It is pertinent to mention here that the driver of the truck managed to escape from the scene after the accident.
