The increase in the dollar rate will also result in inflation

MIANWALI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Monday said that the nation was paying a huge price for the corruption of country s rulers.

Addressing a rally in Mianwali on Monday, he said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz-led (PML-N) government has inflicted a loss of Rs3600 billion on country during its five year tenure.

The PTI chairman asked the people to question PML-N candidate about what one thing they had improved during their tenure.

Khan went on to say that Pakistani rupee crashed to record low against US dollar due to the corruption of political leaders, adding that the increase in the price of dollar has increased the country’s debt.

“The increase in the dollar rate will also result in inflation,” he said.

He said: “Country’s biggest problem is its debt as the government took loans to meet expenses, adding that taxes were imposed on masses to pay loans.”

He further appealed the people to come out of their houses on July 25 and vote for party.
