Hussain says mother Kulsoom doesn't know of Nawaz, Maryam's arrest
Hussain suggested Kulsoom has not regained consciousness.
LONDON (Dunya News) – Kulsoom Nawaz, who is undergoing cancer treatment in London, has no knowledge of the arrest of her husband Nawaz Sharif and daughter Maryam Nawaz, said Hussain Nawaz on Sunday.
Talking to media in London, Hussain confimed Kulsoom was recovering but suggested she has not completely regained consciousness. “She opens her eyes for a brief moment during the day... There are tears in (her) eyes whenever she opens them,” he said.
Hussain had earlier confirmed Kulsoom was recovering and requested prayers for her mother. He said change in medicine had yielded positive results. “My mother regained consciousness after one month,” he added.
Maryam Nawaz ahead of her departure to Lahore alongside Nawaz Sharif had tweeted about her mother s health. She said Kulsoom opened her eyes for a moment.
