CJP directed to submit report on a 10-year audit of the airlines in 10 weeks.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court (SC) on Saturday has turned down the plea seeking permission to use Markhor logo on Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) planes.

During the hearing, Chief Justice of Punjab (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar has clarified that no picture of Markhor will be printed on the aircrafts.

He also directed to submit report on a 10-year audit of the airlines in 10 weeks over which, Auditor General of Pakistan Javed Jahangir said that there is a need to frst prepare detailed TORs to carry out the audit.

Meanwhile, Mehtab Abbasi demanded to conduct forensic audit of the airlines.

Moreover, Shujat Azeem was allowed to leave abroad after affidavit.
