JUIs candidate Ghulam Qadir made a clean sweep at the PK-69 by-elections in constituency of Tank
JUI’s candidate Ghulam Qadir Bhatti made a clean sweep at the PK-69 by-elections in constituency of Tank.The counting of votes has been completed at the constituency of Tank. According to unofficial results of these by-elections, JUI’s candidate Ghulam Qadir Bhatti got 17,467 votes. Where as his most close competitor was an independent candidate Habib Ullah Kandi with 13,816 votes.The third position was attained by PPP’s Dawar Khan with 13,537 votes. The polling of votes began at 8 am and continued non-stop till 5 pm. Special measures were also taken by presiding officers appointed by the election commission of Pakistan. During the polling, around 12 persons were injured during minor clashes.
