Scorching heat, power cuts cripple routine life in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Unannounced and traumatizing power cuts have crippled routine life in Karachi, reported Dunya News.

It has been learned that K-electric hasn’t yet corrected the technical fault in Bin Qasim Power plant as eighteenth day has passed. Residents in several areas of the metropolis took to the streets and staged protest against K-electric.

On the other hand, K-electric has sought another three days to address the technical fault. Meanwhile, mercury has soared to as high as 44 degree Celsius. Analysts have advised citizens to curtail unnecessary movements.
