CTD foils terror bid, arrests four militants in Khanewal
Hand grenades, explosive material and other arms were also recovered from arrested terrorists.
KAHNEWAL (Dunya News) – Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Wednesday thwarted a terror bid and arrested four terrorists of banned organization during an operation in Khanewal, Dunya News reported.
According to details, CTD personnel conducted an operation on intelligence reports near Bus Stand in Khanewal and apprehended four terrorists indentified as Ghulam Ali, Ahmed Bilal, Hassan Ameen and Tahir.
Hand grenades, explosive material and other arms were also recovered from arrested terrorists.
CTD spokesperson informed media that the arrested terrorists were planning to target sensitive installations in Khanewal. He also informed that arrested terrorists would be produced in the Anti-Terrorist Court today (Thursday).
