Condemns the violence in politics and demanded punishment for the accused

 

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday said that his party was against terrorism and demanded a detailed probe into the failed assassination attempt.

Talking to media after inquiring about the health of Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal in Services Hospital, he expressed solidarity with the federal minister and said that his family was also a victim of the terrorism.

“The National Action Plan (NAP) was aimed at eliminating this menace,” he said and added it was not fully implemented in Punjab.
He condemned the violence in politics and demanded punishment for the accused.

The PPP chairman said that violence at the rally spot in Karachi was embarrassing, adding that the PTI activists should have fought some other day.
