Former president directed the opposition leader for immediate merger of FATA in KP

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Monday said that his party unconditionally supports Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Sources said that Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah met PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.

During the meeting, the former president directed the opposition leader for immediate merger of FATA in KP.

He said that the PPP would not do politics on the issue of FATA merger.

“Providing complete rights to the people of FATA is PPP’s priority,” he added.
