Not a single Pakistani was handed over to any country

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances (COIOED) on Monday claimed to have diposed of 50 cases in April 2018.

A meeting to review the performance of the commission was held with COIOED Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal in chair.

According to the communique issued, the commission has disposed of 3269 cases during the first four months of the current year, while 50 cases were disposed of in April only.

As many as 237 meetings have been held in Islamabad with Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal in chair, while he also chaired 168 meetings of the commission in Karachi, the declaration said.

The declaration further made it clear that not a single Pakistani was handed over to any country and also denied the media reports.
