PM chairs NSC meeting, discusses range of issues
Matters pertaining to national sovereignty and border situation came under discussion
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – An important meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) was held in Islamabad with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in chair.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chairman Joint Chief of Army Staff (CJCSC) Zubair Mahmood Hayat, Chief of Air Staff is Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muzaffar Hassan, Minister for Defence Khurram Dastgir Khan and Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal attended the meeting.
The meeting was also attended by the heads of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Military Intelligence (MI) and Intelligence Bureau (IB).
The meeting strongly condemned the killing of innocent Kashmiris, Indian terrorism in the occupied Valley and recent spat of terrorist incident.
Matters pertaining to national sovereignty and border situation came under discussion in the meeting.
