(Dunya News) – Karachi is in for another heatwave and according to the meteorological department the temperatures are expected to rise as high as 42 degree Celsius.

High temperatures are expected to remain until Saturday.

It’s the first week of May and Karachiites are facing another blistering heatwave in the city. According to the meteorological department, the temperatures are rising due to low levels of sea breeze. With this, the weather will remain dry and even sea breeze will halt. However, after Saturday it is expected that a few degrees will drop.

In the current heat, people are being forced to take refuge under the shade of trees, even during the day. Some say in this weather, with no electricity, parks are the best place offering open air and space making the heat bearable.
