LAHORE (Dunya News) – Responding to Asif Ali Zardari’s statement in which he accused Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supreme leader of bamboozling him, Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday inquired whether former was so innocent that he had fallen prey to latter’s propaganda.
Sharif revealed that he became part of Pakistan Peoples Party-led (PPP) federal government on provisions of restoring judges and slashing the 17th amendment.
While referring to Asif Ali Zardari’s 2015 infamous statement, Sharif asserted that he had expressed exasperation over reckless statement and cancelled the scheduled meeting. Keeping verbal onslaught up, Sharif stated that Zardari wanted to put his weight behind rogue elements instead of masses.
“The era of politics which Asif Ali Zardari is currently practice has expired long ago. At present, masses desire to restore sanctity of vote. Zardari Sab’s party has contracted to inner Sindh only”, taunted Sharif.
