PM Abbasi will inaugurate Pakistans first Greenfield international airport in Islamabad today.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will inaugurate Pakistan’s first Greenfield international airport in Islamabad today.

After the inauguration, there will be a test landing of a C-130 and a commercial flight from Karachi will also land at the airport.



The airport is spread over an area of four thousand acres, having a four storey building, space for 15 airplanes, and more than four thousand passengers. There will be 42 immigration, 32 domestic check-in counters, two runways, six taxi links and 3 taxiways.



For President and Prime Minister of Pakistan, there will be one state lounge each, four VIP lounges, latest scanning machines, elevators, 10 sensor gates and 9 exits and entrances.
