Punjab Assembly approves bill to regularise contractual employees

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Assembly on Friday has approved a bill to make temporary government employees permanent across the province.
During a session, the opposition leaders recorded protest and termed the decision as pre-polls rigging. They said it’s unaccepted that the government takes such steps few months before the general elections.
Meanwhile, Punjab Law Minister said that real face of the opposition is exposed now.
It is to be mentioned here that approximately 1.5 lac people will get benefit from this bill.
