Jati Umra meeting: PM takes Nawaz in confidence over CJP meeting

LAHORE (Dunya News) – An important consultative meeting of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was held in Jati Umra with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in chair.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Punjab Chief Minister and PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif federal and provincial minister attended the meeting.
Sources said that the prime minister briefed Nawaz Sharif about his two meetings with allied parties and opposition leader pertaining to the caretaker setup.
Abbasi also took the former PM in confidence on his recent visit to US, Afghanistan and meeting with Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian saqib Nisar.
Matters relating to pending case on delimitation in the apex court also came under discussion.
Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif also briefed the meeting regarding his meeting with former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar.
