Maryam Nawaz for live telecast of graft proceedings
PTI has welcomed Maryam's demand.
(Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s (PMLN) leader and daughter of Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday demanded to broadcast proceedings of graft references live.
Maryam took to popular microblogging website Twitter to post the message.
“The proceedings of National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) court against Nawaz Sharif and me should be telecasted live so that nation can know what the truth is”, tweeted Maryam.

Maryam also taunted that whole case against Nawaz Sharif was prepared on basis of WhatsApp (a freeware and cross-platform messaging and Voice over IP service) of whom no record was available.
Responding to Maryam’s tweet, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry stated that they (read PTI) would support Maryam’s demand. He taunted that Mian Sab [read Nawaz Sharif] might know after watching proceedings reason behind his ouster.
“We had demanded from the very first day to make proceedings of JIT (Panamagate joint investigation team) public. All details of Volume-X should also be put before nation”, asserted Fawad while adding, “Proceedings of accountability of Sharifs should be made public so that nation knows how big liars they (read Sharif) are”.

It is pertinent here to mention that NAB has filed three corruption references against Sharif family on orders of Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC). The apex court—in its July-2017 landmark verdict—had also ousted Nawaz Sharif from premiership.
