President confers Nishan-e-Imtiaz (military) on Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar

Mamnoon Hussain congratulated Mujahid Anwar on assuming the command of Pakistan Air Force.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Air Chief Marshal, Mujahid Anwar Khan was conferred Nishan-e-Imtiaz Military by President Mamnoon Hussain during an impressive ceremony in Islamabad today (Wednesday).

On the occasion, President Mamnoon Hussain congratulated Mujahid Anwar on assuming the command of Pakistan Air Force.

Earlier on Tuesday, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan called on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. The premier expressed hope that PAF would greatly benefit from his professional capabilities and leadership.

Later, Mujahid Anwar also held meeting with Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

Mujahid Anwar Khan got commissioned in the force in December 1983 and is recipient of coveted Sword of Honor, Best Pilot trophy and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee gold medal from PAF Academy Asghar Khan.

During his service, he has held various command and staff positions. He has flown various training and fighter aircraft including F-16, F-6, FT-5, T-37 and MFI-17.

In recognition of his meritorious services, he was also awarded Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military), Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) and Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military).
