Rainfall turns weather pleasant in Lahore, other cities

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Punjab capital on Tuesday underwent exceptionally pleasant weather as rain lashed the city and brought joy to the people.
Scattered rain also occurred in different parts of the country including Faisalabad, Kasur, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Mian Chunnu, Quetta, Kurram agency and others.

The residents enjoyed soft cool breeze with dark clouds blocking the scorching sun. Ziarat and surrounding areas in Balochistan received the first snowfall of winter season and halted the outgoing cold.
A westerly wave is affecting western and central parts of the country and may persist in upper parts of the country till Wednesday.
Met Office has predicted rain-thundershower (with gusty winds/duststorm) is expected at scattered places in north-east Balochistan (Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Sibbi divisions), southern Punjab (Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan, Multan), while at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central Punjab, Islamabad, FATA and Kashmir.
