Major terrorist activity averted in Balochistan
The raids were conducted as part of ongoing operation Raddul Fasaad.
QUETTA (Dunya News): Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan Friday arrested six suspected terrorists during intelligence based operations (IBOs) in Karbala, Pishin area of Balochistan on terrorists suspected hideouts.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Cache of arms and ammunition including 500 kilograms of explosive, suicide jackets, prepared IEDs, sub-machine guns, mines, and communication equipment were recovered during the raids.
The raids were conducted as part of ongoing operation Raddul Fasaad across the country.
Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad is a operation conducted by the Pakistani military in support of local law enforcement agencies to de-weaponise and eliminate the hidden terrorist sleeper cells across Pakistan.
The operation is aimed at eliminating the threat of terrorism, and consolidating the gains of Operation Zarb-e-Azb, which was launched in 2014 as a joint military offensive.
