Heavy weapons, suicide jackets recovered during IBOs in Balochistan

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News): Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan on Thursday conducted intelligence based operations (IBOs) on terrorists’ suspected hideouts in different areas and recovered caches of arms and ammunition.

According to a press release issued here by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) the IBOs were conducted in Kabu, Mustung, Sanjavi, Duki, Doiwad and Dera Bugti areas of Balochistan.

Cache of arms and ammunition include suicide jackets, RPG rockets, sub machine guns, mines, explosive and detonators.

The IBOs were carried out as part of the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.

Earlier on Wednesday, a suicide bomber killed four soldiers in the southwestern Pakistani city of Quetta and a gunman shot dead two policemen in a separate attack in the restive province.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attacks.
