Asma's murderer still free after 20 days, ANP calls for protest on Feb 5
Asma's dead body was found from sugarcane fields near her home on January 15 after rape.
MARDAN (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police are still unable to detain four-year-old Asma’s murderer who was killed after rape in Mardan as 20 days have passed after the incident on Saturday.
Awami National Party (ANP) has called for protest on February 5 regarding the issue. Furthermore, the joint investigation team (JIT) head met Jirga leaders who expressed dissatisfied over police’s interrogation.
On the other hand, DPO Saeed Ahmad has claimed that the culprits will be nabbed soon.
The four-year-old had gone missing on January 14 in Mardan’s Gujar Garhi area, and her dead body was found from sugarcane fields near her home on January 15 after rape.
