Four terrorists were killed in the raid while law enforcement officials seized cache of weapons

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police conducted raid in Shah Latif Town of Karachi where four terrorists were killed and a heavy cache of weapons was recovered.

The law enforcement officials foiled terror attacks in Sindh’s provincial capital by busting the terrorist hideout in the Shah Latif Town.

According to police sources, they will four terrorists during the raid. A number of illegal weapons were seized from the location to ensure peace in the metropolitan.

SSP Malir Rao Anwar confirmed that special police force for counter-terrorism operation killed the four suspected terrorists inside the hideout. He further told that the terrorists were hiding weapons inside their hideout which has now been recovered by the police force.

Among those killed were identified as Maulvi Ishaq and Nazar Muhammad. The former was a commander of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi while the latter offered services of a security guard to Hakeemullah Mehsood, leader of a banned outfit. Anwar confirmed that both these terrorists belonged to the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban. 


Wanted terrorists


The killed terrorists were wanted in the lists of security forces for a long time. Apart from the active role in Karachi target killing, Maulvi Ishaq was involved as a facilitator in 2014 Jinnah International Airport attack in which 10 armed terrorists killed over two dozen people with several injured. Inside sources also confirmed that Ishaq was a facilitator in 2011 PNS Mehran attack.
