Bench formed to hear overseas Pakistanis' pleas seeking permission to cast vote in polls

CJP directed the bench to start hearing on them from January 10.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar on Friday has formed a three-member bench to hear petitions seeking permission for overseas Pakistanis to cast vote in upcoming general elections in 2018.

During the proceedings, CJP declared the petitions admissible and directed the bench to start hearing on them from January 10.

It is to be mentioned here that overseas Pakistanis had submitted pleas asking to provide them facilities so that they can also cast their votes while sitting abroad.
