(Web Desk) – Dense fog engulfed Lahore and other major cities in Punjab, affecting lives of commuters on late Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.

Dense fog has not only affected commute via roads, but has also caused delays in the schedules of trains and commercial flights.
Temperatures are predicted to drop further during the week. The fog has engulfed many cities in Punjab, including Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Fasialabad and Sahiwal.

Meteorologists have stated that in the next 24 hours rains are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Malakand, Hazara, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, and snow is expected in the northern regions of Pakistan.
