Radd-ul-Fasaad: Forces kill four terrorists, arrest three in separate raids

MUZAFFARGARH (Dunya News) – Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday foiled a terror bid near church and apprehended as many as three terrorists belonging to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levan (ISIS) in Muzaffargarh.

The security officers conducted an operation in the area and detained the militants while they also recovered hand grenades from their possession.

Meanwhile in Balochistan, as many as four terrorists were killed by Frontier Corps (FC) while arms and ammunition were also recovered from the hideouts.

Earlier, CTD personnel conducted a raid at a house in Lalalpur Pirwala area of Multan during which terrorists opened fire at them. The law enforcement agency officers retaliated due to which two terrorists were killed while three other managed to escape.

The CTD spokesperson informed that one of the dead terrorists was identified as Ajmal and that rifle, pistol and explosives were also seized from the dead terrorists. 

’Radd-ul-Fasaad’ was launched in February to indiscriminately eliminate residual / latest threat of terrorism, consolidating gains of operations made thus far and further ensuring security of the borders.

Media cell of the military, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the operation is successfully continuing across Pakistan.
