Security forces foil major terror bid in Quetta

Security forces have launched a probe into the incident.

QUETTA (Dunya News) - Security forces on Tuesday foiled a major terror bid in Quetta while defusing a bomb in Kali Tarkha area.



Police and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel cordoned off the area and called Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), which defused the explosive device weighing 15 kilogrammes.

Security forces have launched a probe into the incident. Yesterday, a bomb installed near a track on Sariab road was timely defused by BDS.



On Sunday, two suicide attackers belonging to Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) had attempted to storm a church in the capital city of Balochistan province during a Sunday service that had some 400 people in presence.

The attack claimed lives of at least nine people while 57 sustained injuries.
