Over 20 lawyers present themselves for arrest after storming Multan judicial complex
The protesters said that they have assembled here to allow police to arrest them.
MULTAN (Dunya News) – Enraged lawyers on Thursday once again took to streets in Multan against police raid on their houses, following Judicial Complex vandalism.
According to details, the lawyers have gathered at Kachehri Chowk and chanted slogans against the security personnel for storming their houses and arresting their colleagues.
The protesters said that they have assembled here to allow police to arrest them. They forcibly climbed on police vans and showed hooliganism.
Earlier, furious lawyers including females barged into session court in Multan and vandalized it, demanding to provide them facilities at Judicial Complex. They said that the courts were shifted to new Judicial Complex but there are no facilities.
Responding on the situation, Barrister Ali Zafar said that he doesn’t support the way lawyers are registering their protest. It’s not the right way for lawyers to put forward their demands, he added.
Later, a case was registered against 39 lawyers including two females for damaging courtroom.
