Pattoki: Blaze damages textile mills in Pattoki
Cotton bales worth million of rupees were destroyed in fire at Din Textile Mills in Pattoki.
PATTOKI (Dunya News) – Fire broke out at the Din Textile Mills situated at the Multan Road near Pattoki on Friday which intensified very quickly and engulfed an adjacent godown.
Fire brigade vehicles from Okara, Kasur and Lahore were called in to douse the blaze. At least ten fire tenders were busy in bringing the fire under control which is still raging.
Rescue sources said that the massive fire has destroyed cotton bales worth million of rupees. The cause of fire is still not known. Sources further said that no loss of life was reported in the inferno.
