Lahore: Blaze at Chungi Amar Sadhus Landa Bazaar doused
Valuables worth million of rupees were destroyed in the blaze at Landa Bazaar in Chungi Amar Sadhu.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The massive fire that erupted in Landa Bazar in Chungi Amar Sadhu area of Lahore on Thursday, engulfing more than 200 carts and a cloth godown, has been doused by fire tenders.
The blaze which erupted due to short-circuit quickly spread and destroyed more than 200 carts. The fire also engulfed an adjacent cloth godown which was also completely gutted.
Rescue sources said that valuables worth million of rupees were destroyed in the blaze. Sources further said that no loss of life was reported in the inferno.
