Raddul Fassad: Security forces arrest 11 terrorists in Balochistan

QUETTA (Dunya News) - Security forces on Sunday arrested at least 11 terrorists and recovered huge cache of weapons in the ongoing operation Raddul Fassad in Balochistan province.

According to ISPR, the operation was jointly carried out by Levies, Frontier Corps (FC) and intelligence agencies in different areas of the province.

While raiding Sunni Shoran area of South Sibbi, at least 11 terrorists were arrested and weapons and explosive material was recovered.

In another operation in Dera Bugti’s Illyasi nullah and Dukki, weapons were confiscated whereas four explosive mines were defused in Qila Saifullah.

Security forces also foiled a major attempt to conduct terrorism activity in Balochistan’s Kohlu district.



According to details, security forces while taking timely action recovered a huge cache of weapons in Kahan area.


 


The authorities say that 180 mortar shells, 172 RPG fuse and 80 MMRS have been recovered from the possession of the suspects.
