Gujrat: Two terrorists killed in encounter with CTD
Explosive material and arms were recovered from dead terrorists.
GUJRAT (Dunya News) - At least two terrorists of a banned outfit were killed in encounter with Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Gujrat on Wednesday while three other were arrested during a separate operation in Multan, Dunya News reported.
According to details, Counter-Terrorism Department carried out an operation in Gujrat and shot dead two terrorists. The CTD spokesman informed that explosive material and arms were recovered from dead terrorists.
On the other hand, CTD carried out an operation at the Muzaffargarh Road in Multan and arrested three terrorists of a banned organization. According to CTD spokesman, the arrested terrorists were planning to target a congregation of a religious party.
The CTD spokesman further informed that the arrested terrorists belonged to a banned outfit and were experts in manufacturing bombs and explosive material.
