3G, 4G service to be launched across Azad Kashmir

MUZAFFARGARH (Dunya News) - The Azad Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to launch 3G and 4G service across AJK with special focus on far flung and areas adjacent to the Line of Control to provide speedy internet service to the people, Radio Pakistan reported.

The decision was taken in a meeting of the Information Technology Board with Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan in the chair. The meeting decided to interlink district offices through internet to promote E-governance.

Raja Farooq Haider Khan directed the concerned authorities to interlink all central and district offices on the pattern of Punjab government to save precious time of people.

He also directed to make arrangements for video conferences at Deputy Commissioner and Tehsil offices. On this occasion, Director General Information Technology Board briefed the meeting about E-governance in the state.
