Terrorist responsible for Turbat massacre killed in IBO: ISPR

Balochistan Frontier Coprs conducted an important Intelligence-based Operation (IBO) near Alandur

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Security forces have killed terrorist belonging to Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) two days after 15 Punjabis were killed in Turbat area, media cell of Pakistan Army reported on Friday.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that Balochistan Frontier Corps (FC) conducted an important Intelligence-based Operation (IBO) near Alandur, Abdul Rehman village, Turbat on presence of terrorists.

As soon the troops cordoned suspected area, terrorists opened fire and during exchange of fire terrorist Younas Taukali identified as one of top 8 Balochistnn Liberation Front (BLF) commander was killed some 20 kilometres west of Bulada and 25 kilometres North of incident site from where 15 dead bodied were recovered.

Terrorist Taukali was involved in killing 15 innocent people belonging to Punjab on November 15 . He was also involved in laying IEDs ambushing FC convoys and killing many civilians including:

a. Killing of Rehmat Ullah Shohaz (founding member of BNM; later surrendered).
b. Execution of Ghulam Jan (Lala Nazir cousin).
c. Killing of Akram Hayathuk.
d. Killing of Habib Ullah S/O Taher.
e. Execution of Saddam.

Earlier on Wednesday, at least 15 bullet-riddled bodies were found on a mountain in Turbat district.

According to Turbat Assistant Commissioner, the bodies were spotted by the locals. Levies personnel immediately arrived at the scene and shifted those to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for autopsies.

The victims were trying to illegally cross the Iranian border to reach Gulf countries for employment opportunities. They were kidnapped by unidentified men near Bulada valley in Kech District.

The assistant commissioner further said that the victims belonged to Punjab’s Gujrat and Mandi Bahauddin districts.
