'Talks were under way with MQM-P leadership well before today'

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Speaking in a Dunya News program, PSP Chairman Mustafa Kamal stressed that PSP’s politics would avoid ethnic lines and the party members sincerely wish to selflessly serve the citizens of Karachi.

Clearing the confusions, he said that PSP leadership cannot even think of allying with the MQM’s founder since the people aligned with MQM founder, abuse and degrade Pakistan.

PSP founder further said that Karachi along with Sindh is a mess because of the political catastrophes and must be fixed from inside and made promising remarks on the city’s future. “We will work with Farooq Sattar to help municipal representatives get authority,” he added.

Responding to a question, Kamal said that he lacks administrative authority and so can only provide advisory assistance to those in power in Karachi, all for the sake of the common citizen who has been devastated due to the turmoil this city has faced in the past.

With regard to recent MQM defections to PSP, PSP Chairman made it clear that resignations will be demanded as soon as they abandon MQM founder’s mandate.

In response to a question regarding Anees Qaimkhani, Kamal praised him as a phenomenon and a movement.

In response to questions regarding Baldia Town factory and Hammad Siddiqui, he made clear that Hammad Siddiqui is neither connected to Baldia Town factory nor is a worker of PSP. Giving his own narrative of Baldia Town factory, Kamal said that fire was purposefully ignited.
